Dear Constance and Humphrey
Again you exceeded our expectations and desires. You both welcomed, engaged and enlightened us. While Constance organises each and every adventure for us and takes care of the most important angel Olivia, Humphrey shares his passion for Africa and his try at humour. Our trip was wonderful and we enjoyed learning at every turn and of course pushing a vehicle at every turn! It was an amazing journey none of us will ever forget. Thank you for sharing your world, your country and your soul for the wild! PS I d0 not want something to drink or lunch…

Thank you for a wonderful adventure, travel for the youth is education, travel for the mature is adventure!
I just wish I could bring the adventure to life for my grandchildren. The rocks were amazing. I maybe back in 2012 when the aliens return. The food was great. I will remember my first helicopter ride, the dinner and finding my sculpture and on and on and on…….
I will have to compile my top ten. I added some items to my ‘bucket list’
Until next time…

We are so appreciative of your effort to make this such a wonderful experience for us. Our safari has truly been the experience of a lifetime. Thank you for all your patience and laughter! The knowledge you have shared with us is invaluable. My /our word for your experience is ‘edutainment’, an educator not only of African wildlife but of life and history in Zimbabwe.
Thank you

We had such an amazing experience with you, naturally, humanity ( I think I am inventing some words!). We learnt a lot of things no matter how few animals we saw were. Above everything we had so much fun. We are crazy and so are you! I was scared of the bush, I had an experience in Kenya where animals are animals, they don’t even notice the human presence and there is no human interaction. You taught me how to feel the nature. I have loved searching the tracks and watching you put your finger in dung and pick it up!! I am longer scared of the bush and am very curious about it now. I really learnt a lot from you, thankyou.
Hope to see you in Paris for some more interesting discussions! Bisous.

Thank you for my best trip to Africa! I had a wonderful time and great excitement especially with the mock charge by the lion and when we were almost walked over by the big elephant bull.
After this trip to Mana Pools with, other safaris will not be the same again.
Take care in the bush and do not leave the rifle behind! ☺
See you again another time.
- Henriette - DenmarkHumphrey,
The few days I spent with you, Diane and Fred in Mana Pools, are the most memorable of all my 20 years of safaris in Africa!
There are not enough Superlatives in the English language for me to describe my experience fully.
I told Karine I wanted to be in the bush, she told me you were the best, she was right!!!
Thank you.
- Ian - WashingtonDear Humphrey
We asked you to show us a good cross section of Mana Pools, and you have succeeded totally in satisfying that mandate!
We have all enjoyed the experience which was marked by your wit and professional instinct (apart from the boring walks??). You deserve to become famous and you should. You should also improve your skills in crocodile measurement! It was truly a great trip and we must not forget to add praise to Constance and the back office team for the wonderful catering and arrangements, which added to make the ‘perfect safari’. We all look forward to doing it again!

La valeur n’attend pas le nombre des annees! Vous etes jeunes et si professionels! Autrement dit un sejour de reve plein d’attentions et de gentillesse, du sur mesure pour photographes.Un grand merci et un grand Bravo pour tout le staff du camp.
A Bientot
Humphrey,
In 2009 we promised to be back and for 2 years we have been looking forward to meet up with you again in Zimbabwe. You have set the standard so high in 2009 that sometimes we had our doubts that an adventure like that could be repeated … Congratulations, you have done it again!!!
In Mana Pools you brought us the nature of the Hippo closer. Not only did we manage to to canoe around them, but we even swam in the Zambezi, combined with a proper shampoo/hair wash. The buffalo photo session from within a tree log will always remain my top adrenalin high….. For the next safari with you I will bring knee pads in order to save the skin on my knees while sneaking up on a pack of 28 Wild dogs. Our confidence in you is enormous and due to your attitude out in the wild, your knowledge and understanding of the nature that surrounds us, we never hesitated to follow you, always felt safe even when standing a mere 8 metres away from 2 bull elephants. What a highlight when one of them got back on his hind legs to feed Mana Style. On a lighter note we want you to remember
1. How to fix a spotlight so it will not burn + smoke
2. What a blond crested Land cruiser might look like.
3. To walk slower with a bunch of pensioners
4. Not to serve Calamari on the first night at camp
5. Do safety rules only when already out in the canoe on the Zambezi.
We do understand that your company is called journeys of a lifetime. We are eternally grateful for the fantastic and magic time we were allowed to spend in your country under your guidance this year again. We will be back !!!
With our very best wishes to you, ‘Humphrey Gumpovich from Montenegro’, Constance and Olivia, and a salute to your Mana crew. The whole safari was VOLL KRASS MANN, WEISCH!!
